9.12 is out but driver problem sorted?

9.12 is now out notes say to update drivers but doesn’t say if the August Nvidia drivers are now OK?

Its also downloading the sample images again! There must be away of getting rid of them.

Be warned its downloads everything and again Optimises AI models so its been updating for me nearly 10miniutes so I suspect if its not got something you need give it a miss

PL 9.12, RTX 5070 with latest August Studio Driver 616.56. I dont have any issues regarding this new driver. All works as usually, havn’t seen any bug or glitches.

But be careful with 616.56 - many people on nvidia forums are complaining about glitches and bugs like screen flickering… DxO Staff made post about it and don’t recommend this version of driver..

As with many my exports didn’t work and had to go back to Julys

I can 100% confirm this. No Problems at all with NVidia-Driver 616.56 (PL9.12, RTX 5080).
I had the impression the AI-operations of PL are a little bit more responsive but I am not sure about it.
Nevertheless the problems which have been reported so far are real and should be taken seriously. I would not install the new driver without first a complete system-BackUp (e.g. Macrium).

We’ve posted an update on this here: ✅ Update — PhotoLab updates for NVIDIA driver 616.56 are now available — the compatibility issue with driver 616.56 is resolved in PhotoLab 9.12.1 and 10.0.1.
