I my name is Rob and I live in The Netherlands. I am a retired IT Auditor and have picked up my photography hobby again after my retirement. I used to make diapositives in the early days of my hobby with a Practica and later onwards a Minolta SR-T.

I moved to digital with the Canon 350, 30D, 40D, 5DII and now a 5DIV. I did not and probably will not move to the Canon R range because of the investments made in the Canon professional lenses (EF) line.

I moved from Seattle to Cupertino 10 years ago and today I am using a Mac Pro 14" 2021 M1Pro and iPad Pro M1 12,9" 2021 on a daily basis.

Currently I am migrating from subscription editing software to DxO PL.
I started using DxO mid March '23, so I am a retired newbe .

I hope to learn best practices from you and share my thoughts and mistakes when deemed interesting.
