Nik user since the 20-naughts. Was saddened when Google bought it, and pretty much predicted its course with that ownership. Mixed feelings when DxO bought it because DxO does not have a good development track record IMO. But glad they at least updated the basics up to and including Collection 3. Bought 4 and was about to buy 5 when I discovered a fatal flaw in SEP3, Viveza3, CEP5, and AEP3 … one that will not likely ever be addressed. Too bad. I also wasn’t in love with the “new and improved” UI - it was a huge step backward in HUD technology. But on the bright side, Nik3 does pretty much all I need it to do and is still one of my main go-to’s for heavy duty post processing. So I am still here.
