Using Compression on DXO Exports

PL is my primary, but sometimes I want to use other editors for capabilities that PL lacks (i.e. masking). I can export as a TIFF, and access via another editor, but the files are huge. Since PL lacks a compression function (unlike others like ON1), does anyone have a simple way to compress and still make the TIFF easily accessible toother editors ?

Hi
Simply treat this TIFF as a temporary file … and destroy it.

Why would I want to do that ? Id like to keep the TIFF so I can return to make minor adjustments from either DXO or the other editor.

I think that @Pieloe is suggesting that having opened the non-compressed TIFF in another editor you should re-save the file using what ever compression options that editor offers.

Having made edits and resaved (using compression), the original uncompressed TIFF is now redundant and can be deleted.
