If you want to say change the channels one by one it would be maybe possible, I donā€™t knowā€¦ but why so difficult instead of have a simple luma channel?

  2. Unnecessarily complicated.
  3. Too limited. Only works with control point and control line. Neither for the whole image nor with the selection brush. Obviously itā€™s more than nothingā€¦

With Control lines: If you place the main line outside of the photo-coverage area and the pipette on any point in the photo viewing area and then adjust Luma or Chroma selectivity, you can create a luma or chroma mask for the entire photo based upon the luma or chroma of any point in the photo.

Hard to vote to this : I like some features but not all are my priority.
