TIFF files in DxO

Is it possible in DxO to apply lens distortion and aberration corrections to a TIFF file with all EXIF data intact? The lens and camera module exists.
Thanks.

Please welcome to the forum.

Yes, at least for the cases I’ve seen.
What kind of TIFF do you have in mind?

The only problem I’ve seen is with Lens Sharpness Optimization missing for TIFFs exported by Capture One (with Nikon Z8). C1 strips makernotes from EXIF on TIFF exports and PhotoLab LSO probably uses FocusDistance tag (at least for Nikon Z8, which is in Nikon MakerNotes), rather than SubjectDistance tag present in EXIF outside of makernotes. But I think it makes little sense to feed PL with C1 exports anyway, it’s rather the other way round , and if makernotes are not stripped from EXIF, there should be no problem with LSO either.

@pcdferrera DxO PhotoLab allows you to apply correction settings to RGB files. Please see the attached screenshot, of a TIFF file opened in PhotoLab 9. You are better using raw files though, if you want all the advantages of PhotoLab 9 e.g. you can only apply standard noise reduction to a RGB image.

Plus one here , especially given the fact that DeepPRIME3 also deals subtly with CA, if it’s a problem for you. DeepPRIME works only on RAWs.

Thanks everyone for the replies.
I see that the ability to process TIFF files depends on the specific case.
So let me explain.
For my workflow, I use Canon DPP. If I need to develop RAW files obtained by shooting with Canon lenses, I have no problems. But if I start from RAW files obtained by shooting with third-party lenses, Canon DPP doesn’t correct chromatic aberrations. So I have to do it from the TIFF file obtained by exporting it from Canon DPP.
DxO PhotoLab can be a good choice in this case? I’m only interested in correcting chromatic aberrations. I’m not interested in sharpening or noise reduction.

Providing that DxO supports your particular body/lens combination, it’s a one stop shop. No need to use Canon DPP at all. PhotoLab takes the RAW file, demosaics it and allows you to edit it without the need to export until you are ready to use the final image.
