Good morning,
I indexed my “images” folder with PL8. Most of my photos now have a virtual copy.
Is it possible to delete them all, or select all in one time, rather than selecting them one by one, which is very long…?
Thanks

You may use ‘Sort images’ menu in the filmstrip to sort by virtual copy number, which would make selecting easier.
Thank you, Wlodek
There is no option to sort virtual copies, but I found a solution which is to sort by “order of adding images”. Since PL8 added the virtual copies by indexing the photos, they are almost all grouped at the end and it is easy to select them to delete them.
According to the manual, on PC there is no sorting by ‘Images by order of addition’ but there is sorting by ‘Virtual copy number’, while on Mac it’s vice versa. One of those PC/Mac implementation differences which can get people confused.
That’s right… I’m on Mac, it would be more practical if the functions were identical! Sorting by “Virtual copy Number” would be convenient.
Thank you !
