Has anyone else run into the issue that the shortcut for Split Preview [c] does not work in edit mode in PhotoLab 8 under macOS Sonoma?
When I hit “c” nothing happens. But if I enable Split Preview via the menu, “c” will disable Split Preview. If I’m in Full Screen Viewer “c” will toggle Split Preview as normal.
Pressing C will close the split view but not open it. Presumably because there is a choice of four different ways to split it.
But, as you said, it works both ways in full screen mode
I’m surprised this turned out as a deliberate change by DxO, but thank you for letting me know there’s nothing wrong with my install, Joanna. I’ve spent quite some time troubleshooting this change in behaviour.
“C” used to be a toggle for split screen with the conventional side by side presentation. I much preferred that implementation. If side by side is not enough, it was easy enough to go and change the view.
Argh.
It’s control+shift+C to go into side-by-side view.
Pressing again the same shortcut will cycle through all modes, and the last one is always remembered.
