Thanks! How do you get on with your Pentax equipment. I used it long time ago, wondering how it is for digital?
It is no longer the ubiquitous brand it once was, but they are still turning out a small number of great cameras. They trail the competition in some ways but have unique capabilities also. The competition are catching up with some of the unique selling points, though. For instance, IBIS has been standard on Pentax for 15 years.
As ever, the glass is excellent, and you can use any Pentax (or compatible) lens from whenever. I have a couple of lenses my Dad bought in Singapore in the 1970s that work completely natively on my current flagship DSLR — including IBIS!
