I did try to search but couldn’t find what I’m looking for.
I want to be able to use PR6 to batch convert Fuji RAF files for editing in PL9. The converted DNG files edit quicker and export faster.
I often reintroduce Velvia colour profile into my wildlife images. When I do this directly on a RAF file in PL9 the file outputs to Jpg With the colours intact.
When I use a DNG of the same file from PR6 Velvia applies correctly in the customise screen and the image looks great (same result as direct edit in PL9) but the exported image retains all the tone adjustments but has washed out colours like an unedited RAW file.
Check your export settings in PhotoLab for JPEG - especially ICC and other color settings. If you have anything set to “As Shot,” consider changing it to what you need for displaying the exported images. If you think it will help, post a screenshot of your full export settings. (You can also check this by using Soft Proofing in PhotoLab, which will show you what the exported image will look like. I leave Soft Proofing on all the time to avoid any mistakes.)
