Prints washed out compared to monitor

An other difference is abt 40 km. The one I use is here near by.

I agree with Joanna. I don’t send the (one or 2 a year) photos that I print to any service that won’t provide a printer profile.

While having to print commercial projects for many years, where color and tonality is critical, I realize so many things can go wrong, you’re only as good as your weakest link. I would start off by saying, profiling your monitor is a must! I only work with pro labs, that are able to provide the icc profiles. Keep in mind, some labs will “color correct” and tone correct on there own, which means what you see as optimal, the printer or machine, may want to adjust, again why its so important to work with professional labs. Lastly, I try to stick with labs that only accept TIFF files as well, as someone that used to print fine art years back, I realized early on, jpegs by nature are compressed files, and just don’t provide the color and detail spectrum as TIFF.

You don’t have a postmen there?

I expect that “only” shouldn’t be there.
