I confirm that I have no problems with the before/after display with PureRAW 5.3.
It’s indeed a perfectly normal version and the latest one, as you can see below.
But again, I’d like to point out that this is a Windows version; it may be different on Mac.
Are you running in 1080 or 4k. When in 4K I get the problem with magnifications below 300% but if I run in 1080 I do not have an issue. I am runnimg the windows version.
I have a 1920 x 1200 resolution screen.
This may indeed explain the difference in behavior.
I have the same problem on Windows 11 with an Nvidia 5060 Laptop graphics chip. At 1920x1200 works fine. at 2560x1600 it fails.
Found a possible workaround when at 2560x1600. In Control Panel Display settings, if the “Scale” is set to 150%, Preview doesn’t work. If set to 125% it works. I test this by sliding the intensity or force detail slider.
i can’t be bothered mucking around with other setting options. DXO should have advised all users of the problem and take down V5.3 until it’s stable.
Agree. I had time to experiment and figured my input might help.
I had 5.2.19 in my download folder, so went back to it.
I also tried the same workaround. I am running at 3840 x 2160 (windows 11 with Nvidia 4070) and also find that dropping the scaling down to 125% from 150% allows the preview to work at it should.

i see people say 5.2.19 seems to work anyone got a link to 5.2.19 so i can try this version (mac) as i have just purchased 5.3 and on my windows 11 pc its perfect on mac its not, Not really impressed as a first time buyer with issues like this instantly!
if this is for mac would you be able to share me a copy of 5.2.19? as 5.3 seems a complete shambles so far.

I sent a bunch of screenshots to support showing working and bad. They responded requesting I run their diagnostics utility and send them the results. Did that yesterday.
I’m on Windows 10 and V5.3 is SNAFU.
Bonsoir , donc moi tout est clair maintenant , cette version ne fonctionnement pas correctement avec des résolution 4K (3840x2160 qui est celle recommandée au niveau de mon système w11 !!!) en baissant la résolution à 2560x1440 cela fonctionne , mais pour LR par exemple l’ affichage est trop grand…

• Compensation de la douceur de l’objectif dans l’aperçu : Correction d’un problème où, à certains petits niveaux de zoom, l’aperçu n’affichait pas correctement la compensation de la douceur de l’objectif.
