I wish I never purchased 7 now and have gone back to 6
What do you all think about the user interface of the Nik collection 7 for local adjustments? I have just seen the video, it seems to be the complete opposite approach to Photolab. Every adjustment is a ‚filter‘ and each filter can also be applied locally.
The advantage seems to be that local adjustments are available to all tools. The disadvantage seems to be that for each filter one needs to create new masks, unlike the masks that are shared across all local tools in Photolab (or is it possible to reuse masks from other filters?)
I find it interesting that dxo is following two completely diametrical approaches in two of their softwares.
