PL9 makes auto brush object selection much worse?

masks will sometimes leave a bright fringe around a selection, especially when trying to darken a background. In this example, it’s easy to see the fringe on the belly of this bird: [SCR-20250922-imzo] Are there techiques for eliminating this?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I think I’ll stick with PL8 for now, as the local adjustments work well, including AutoBrush.
