PL9: Fine contrast

Till now, I do use PL6, because PL7 and 8 did not convince me.

Testing now PL9, I cannot find the function / feature “fine contrast”. Afaik, there is no official comment from DxO as to a removal of this feature, nor in PL 7, 8, or 9.

If “fine contrast” does still exist: where can I find it?

If “fine contrast” has been removed:
What is the benefit of this removal for the user? Are there other features, compensating this removal?

Best regards

Volker

It’s come if DxO FilmPack installed (and licensed of course).

Or just use ‘Help → DxO FilmPack → Activate DxO FilmPack’.

Thanks for the quick answer.
In my PL6 obviously I do have Film Pack (there are some “Film Pack palettes”) but never used it.
Following your hint, I installed the test version of FilmPack 8 and these functions are here again.
Thank you!
Best regards
Volker

You don’t have to purchase FilmPack 8. Just use the license for the version of FilmPack you currently have. You should be able to select that version from within PhotoLab.

@A77user

PhotoLab 9 should be able to use FilmPack versions 3 through 8 according to this info that is buried somewhere in support.dxo.com
