The first time I tried I got some message about configuration of the drive. Now the hub doesn’t show up at all. Is there a solution?
Does PhotoLab have access to external volumes ?
Settings/Privacy & Security/Full Disk Access
Does the Hub have its own power supply ? If there a lot of things connected it may need a dedicated power supply.

It is strongly advised not to open photos from an SD card, especially those formatted for DC.
Start by copying your photos to your HDD.
