Hi, I have PL6 elite and i’m considering upgrading to PL8, I also have Filmpack6 & Viewpoint3 which I use integrated into the PL6 platform, does anyone know if I can still use FP6 & VP3 fully integrated with PL8 ?

Filmpack for sure, as I have FP6 and I use it with PL8.
Don’t know about Viewpoint, as I don’t have it.
VP3 works with PL8 on my Mac Studio M2 Max
You may want to seriously consider utilizing the free trial before you purchase. This will allow you to evaluate how FP6 and VP3 perform on your machine. VP5 does offer some features unavailable in previous versions, which you can evaluate through the VP5 trial.

MAC or Windows?
MAC only:
VP3 work on M chip with 10.13 (High Sierra), 10.14 (Mojave), 10.15 (Catalina), VP4 work with M chip on macOS 12 (Monterey), 13 (Ventura).
FP7 compatible with DxO PhotoLab 4, 5, 6, 7.

not sure how you got it running, i had to upgrade to VP4 because VP3 couldn’t be install on my M2 MAX for non compatibility.
thanks for your help guys, I will get the PL8 trial and try it out. I was waiting to see if there would be a Black Friday reduction so will start the trial in a week or so then it can run seamlesly into the paid version after the 30 days. I’m running win11 and will post my findings back here 
I’m running macOS Sonoma 14.7. No problems with VP3. But, I had version 3 installed on my old Mac Pro, so it came over (successful) during the migration when I updated to the Mac Studio.
