Hello, I believe this to be a bug, even as it could be argumented otherwise:
I started export of many files, had to interrupt and restart PL.
Then I selected all files and exported again. PL informs me in a dialogue:
“File xxxx already exists. What do you want to do?”
Checkbox “Do this for the next x conflicts”
Choices: “Overwrite”, “Use unique names”, “Cancel export”
Choosing “Cancel export” does NOT apply the checkbox “Do this for the next x conflicts”. It purely aborts all exporting.
If this is not a bug, but intended behaviour:
In general GUI logic, this button should be called “Cancel all exports” to indicate that the checkbox does not apply. Also the button should be placed (recessed?) outside of the box with the other two buttons, as the checkbox does not relate to it.
Alternatives: yes, there is a “complex” filter system where I can select files eg. that failed processing etc. But with 1000+ files I cannot be sure what PL “knows” and what I know.
Therefor, exporting all files that do not exist yet, by choosing a batch export, requires a working “cancel export on all files that already exist” is quite a no-brainer and solves from many uncertainties. IMHO.
So, would you consider this a bug or more a user error?
