PhotoLab 9.2 out

As one of IBM consultants said about a certain feature in their software, “If it doesn’t work, don’t use it”. The topic of predefined AI masks usability has already been beaten to death here. The Selection and Area modes do work, and are mostly superior to the predefined ones.

Why worry about AI Sky mask, just use what @Joanna uses for years, e.g. see PL 9.2 interesting AI idea of what a sky looks like 😀 .

BTW, often you can get a “better” sky just by going down with Selective Tones → Highlights (and pushing Midtones higher to get a balance). Another standard trick is to use Saturation=-15 and Vibrance=+40 – actual settings can be found in one of the DxO Landscape presets, iirc. Both solutions are quick and dirty but often work. You may tune that by using HSL.
