OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko ED 50-200mm F2.8 IS PRO lens module

Hi there, I’m trying to request lens support on the site, but it’s not allowing OM SYSTEM as an option (it only appears under cameras).

Can you please advise if/when the new OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko ED 50-200mm F2.8 IS PRO will be supported?

Thanks so much,
Davey

I have the same problem. When I search in this Forum for this lens, I find:

Targeted by end of 2025 (or early 2026) :spiral_calendar:

  • Canon EOS C50
  • DJI Mini 5 Pro (+ Mini 5 Pro lens)
  • Fuji X-T30 III
  • Hasselblad X2D II 100C
  • Fuji GF 500mm F5.6 R LM OIS WR (+ GF1.4x)
  • Hasselblad XCD 35–100mm F2.8–4 E
  • Nikon Z 24–70mm F2.8 S II
  • OM System M.Zuiko ED 50–200mm F2.8 IS PRO (+ TC x1.4 Zuiko / TC x2.0 Zuiko)
  • Tamron 25–200mm F2.8–5.6 Di III VXD G2 (Sony FE)
  • Zeiss Otus 85mm F1.4 (FE / RF / Z)

from Marie. I have already submitted images from this lens on an OM-1 II but it would be very nice to have the lens module. It also would be nice for DxO to get their web page of camera and lens support to work properly, assuming that DxO regards OMDS as a Minimum Viable Product.

What did you mean when you suggested that DxO should “get their web page of camera and lens support to work properly”?

I saw the same behaviour as is mentioned in the first posting to this topic: Hi there, I’m trying to request lens support on the site, but it’s not allowing OM SYSTEM as an option (it only appears under cameras). End excerpt. Now that I know it is under Zuiko, that is what I shall use. However, when I use either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, neither displays the list. Only when I used Microsoft Edge (a Chrome derivative) did I see the full list for Zuiko. Thus, with Edge, the list does work (if one knows to call the lens Zuiko, not OM System nor Olympus). The same is true for Nikon lenses as these are listed under Nikkor – nonetheless, most photographers I know think Nikon and not the Nikon trademark lens name of Nikkor, and thus not the Olympus/OMDS trademark lens name of M. Zuiko abbreviated to Zuiko by DxO. Again, I have current production Firefox and the list does not correctly display, whereas this does work with Edge. (Aside: I wish all websites were compliant with W3C and Internet standards, and not use various proprietary “standards” such as those from Microsoft or Apple.)

Neither displayed on my end either. The first option is simply “O”. I found I could manually type a name in but wasn’t sure if it went through that way.

Also, I didn’t see that other post from Marie (thank you, @Marie, as always!).

Thanks so much everyone for the replies & info!

Cheers,
Davey

I only use Google Chrome and I have no problems viewing the database in Chrome. And, you can’t fault DxO if users are unsure of the actual names of the branded lenses they are searching for. I am not an OM shooter, but I think It should have been fairly obvious when Marie indicated the OM System M.Zuiko ED 50–200mm F2.8 IS PRO (+ TC x1.4 Zuiko / TC x2.0 Zuiko). That is how I found the list in a matter of seconds.
