Hello, I watched Mark Galer’s tutorial (2025) and was intrigued with the Lens Softness Compensation. However, under Denoise, I cannot find this in my Photolab 9, I just upgraded to the latest version, no success. I am on Windows. Is this tool gone?

I installed v9.10 and no change, this function is still there.
Is the camera/lens combination installed ?
Are you viewing a RAW file ?
It’s only there for supported lenses that you have downloaded the relevant optics module. If as Franky points out it is a raw file.
What was once called ‘Lens Softness Compensation’ has changed its name in PL9 to ‘Lens Sharpness Optimization’.
The metrics and default have also changed – current default of 100 corresponds to old 0.0, while old default 1.0 is now about 133.
