Several times I’ve meant to apply a preset but hit the close window button instead. It would be nice if they were separated.
But that is not the case on a Mac. The close button is on the other side. You are never going to please everyone all the time.
I know the Apply Preset button is very near the close button, especially if you regularly click on the right hand side of that button. However, in the almost 8 years I have been using PhotoLab on an almost daily basis I have never accidentally closed PhotoLab. Try training yourself to click on or near the Preset button icon on the left of the Preset button which is not near the close button.
