They’re in my backyard right now, sort of. They’re not mine. Every time I’m out there, if they are close enough to notice I am there, a whole bunch of them will approach and just watch me. They are retained by a single electrified wire about a half, maybe two-thirds meter high. I don’t know much about them. We are rehabilitating an old farmhouse in the Midwest and thankful to have someone working on our small acreage.

They’re very curious (in the sense: inquisitive) animals. Used to fish on the river Teifi in Wales on a pitch between the pasture and the water. It was v important not to leave anything on the ground in case the cattle walked on it while they checked you out.
Apparently this is a mutual thing
