Missing features in 9.10

I am missing the Lens Sharpness and Bokeh tabs in Version 9.10 Have they been removed or am

It’s still in the ‘DETAIL’ palette in my Windows installation of PL9.10.

Perhaps you are dealing with a lens that does not have a correction module, in which case the Lens sharpness palette is not accessible.

In addition to the availability of a lens profile, I would also ask whether the image(s) in question are non-native DNGs, or JPEGs or TIFFs. As I am sure you know, most profiles have been created for native raw files only, although some lenses also have JPEG profiles. When editing Jpeg files with profiles. the Bokeh slider is not available. Finally, when lenses with profiles are mounted on different manufacturers’ camera bodies, requiring a third party adapter or when using extenders or teleconverters, lens profiles may not be recognized.

The camera is a Leica SL2, the lens is a Leica 24-70 F2.8 I tried this with DNG files, I tried with JPEG files and a TIFF file. Then I tried with files from an Olympus Em1 Mk III with a 12-40 F28 lens. The Lens profile section is gone. I had it before i upgraded to 9.10. Now they are gone. But, since you all have them, I have hope. I’ll fool with it this afternoon. I’m sure it’s just a glitch. Thank You for the replies. They helped.

If your lens is the Leica Vario-Elmarit SL2 24-70 f/2.8, there are 4 profiles available. Two for raw files and two for jpegs. I would check your installed DxO modules to ensure that the profiles have been downloaded. It is not normal for lens profiles to be deleted when PhotoLab is updated with a new point version but I suppose it could be a glitch. I would check the profiles for your Olympus Em1 as well to make sure they are still shown as downloaded.

First, I checked and all of the 24-70 modules are there, however, none of my CL APS C modules are, and they are not included for download either. They were in the prior build. My actions have now been to delete DXO and reinstall it. And….that didn’t work. The 24-70 modules are installed, but I still don’t have the Lense sharpness Optimization tab and the CL APS C lenses are still not listed as available for download. Before anyone wonders, I am not new to DXO, have been running the program since DXO 2. I guess I’ll just download a copy of Pure Raw and use Lightroom for a while until the next update comes out and see if anything changes. Thank You all for your help. It has been much appreciated.

Why spend money on PureRAW? Surely you should at least first submit a bug report to DxO? They might be able to fix your current installation. Use the form on this page:
