In PL7, I could use the middle mouse button to compare pictures (CTRL+D).
This doesn’t seem to work anymore in PL8 using the middle mouse button…
In both PL7 and 8, the key D is whats used to toggle comparisons.
cmd-D creates a virtual copy.
Could it be that it is and have been a simple D on Windows as well?
In PL 7 didn’t you have to set up that middle button to emulate Ctrl-D while in PhotoLab? Since PL 8 is, for all intents and purposes, a different program, I am guessing you need to set up that middle button again. Have you tried doing that?

I never had to set it up in PL, any version. Middle mouse button did the compare.
I wouldn’t even know where you can set this up within PL.
Indeed, I’d never notice that because i’m more shortcut inclined, but in V6.12.0 PC middle mouse click in the main window act as CTRL+D (wich does not imply mouse to be in the main window) and so trigger the compare view when pushed (normal view come back when released).
