Importante notice: Installation issue caused by macOS Tahoe 26.7 and Golden Gate 27: PureRAW, FilmPack and ViewPoint
A change in these macOS versions prevents custom installer windows from appearing. This affects the window used to select host applications when installing DxO PureRAW, FilmPack and ViewPoint. PureRAW’s Finder extensions may also be affected.
This issue originates in macOS. Other application developers have reported the same wrong behaviour, and an Apple Developer Technical Support engineer has described it as an apparent macOS bug. You can read Apple’s response here.
Although the cause is outside DxO’s applications, we are preparing updates that will allow integrations to install without the host-selection window. We expect the PureRAW 6 update in the coming days. We will confirm the timing for FilmPack and ViewPoint as soon as possible and update this thread.
