I will bite - post a pair of OOC JPG + NEF and load NEF in NX Studio and let us compare image output bit by bit … literally that is ( not metadata, but the image itself OOC JPG vs NX JPG ).
Capture NX-D behaved better when it came to “identical” in camera jpegs vs NEF exported JPEGs from NXD for me. But that was on my D3X/D3S and older nano coated optics.
My impression is that there’s differences between NX Studio and camera regarding the optical corrections.
