They look like snails to me.

I find these ephemeral “landscapes” surprising.
Most of the time there’s nothing. The desert.
Then a rain comes and in a few hours licken and moss come out of the trees for 1 or 2 days and a whole life is revealed inside.
Then disappear after rain.
Ps: the images are turned around 90 degrees. The snails were climbing the tree.
