@Allan Thank you for taking the task as seriously as you have. I actually used my 2060(6GB) yesterday and successfully handled the images from my Autumn colour trip and with all NR deselected I was able to set a new mask on an image but as soon as I tried to do an export it all came unravelled and every export failed.
I tried your DOP on the 2060(6GB) and it failed with 576.40 drivers while just inspecting the images.
My original masks were just crude to test a specific scenario that was causing some users problems and to make it obvious when a mask was in use i.e. using the “Sky” preset and a very obvious edit.
But you have taken the masking very seriously, masking is something I have yet to learn. Your masks set out to apply a mask to the sky which avoids the limitations of the DxO “Sky” preset.
Further attempts to rerun my tests that were successful yesterday failed just trying to open the first [M]aster copy. So I have a new test pack to see what drivers work, thanks, I think!?
This was after I discovered your image on my 3060(12GB) and reviewed the edits with 3 export workers and the other was straight after a “Sleep” with only 2 export workers selected.
@Allan if you use an @BHAYT in a post I believe I will get a notification pop up to tell me someone has tried to contact me!
With respect to editing masks I must admit that I have had trouble once or twice when attempting to clear out previous masks.
When I started up PL91 this morning it hung attempting to display the first image so it needed to be terminated with prejudice and a second attempt resulted in this which shows that the 3060(12GB) has certainly not run out of memory!
So perhaps the 576.40 drivers are not all that I had hoped for!
Plus terminating PhotoLab did not clear the VRAM, it remained at its previous setting when I conducted another test with PL8!?
@Egregius It follows on from a number of test threads (topics/posts) and it is up to @Allan how he chooses to get my attention!
UPDATE:- I loaded the 572.83 drivers onto the 3060(12GB) and reran the test and the images were found and shown as you intended and the export, with two export copies, took 12213MB of memory and completed in 5min 36s.
