Just as I’d hoped. I bought the L10 yesterday and am happy that I can keep working with PL. I hadn’t seen the update yet yesterday. And editing RW2 with another program was completely out of the question.
Is there any chance that the Viltrox AF 50mm F1.4 Z, the Viltrox AF 35mm F1.2 Lab Z, and the Meike AF 85mm F1.4 Z will be supported in the foreseeable future?
BTW: According to Marie, the Meike was supposed to get a module earlier this year.
However, since this lens doesn’t exhibit any significant geometric or chromatic aberrations, I’d especially appreciate a module for the Viltrox 50mm F1.4 Z and the Viltrox 35mm F1.2 Lab Z. Although the latter is extremely sharp even without support and performs very well at the edges even at wide-open aperture, it does exhibit very slight geometric distortions at the edges that are somewhat complex and focus-dependent—distortions that are difficult to correct manually and are visible in exceptional cases with certain subjects.
Are we still on track for A7R VI support for this month?

Just installed PR 6.3.1 and it does not support all the A7R6 raw files….files from a few days ago open fine (a7r6+300/2.8GM + 2XTC), files from yesterday (a7r6 + 100-400/4.5-5.6 older lens) are not supported.

These images are either not supported or have already been processed in DxO PureRAW, or the files may be corrupted
….in addition, I found that the A7R6 files that do open in DxO 6.3 do support the HQ file size compression. I assume Marie’s statement about RAW compression is the same. Can you clarify your comment Marie? Thank you….
Okay, after perusing the PhotoLab forum I understand the following…..

What you say is fair, but there is still room for expressing concern about their pricing model. For example, I was a contented user of PL 5 since release in 2021, since none of the new features particularly appealed to me. But 3 years later, it failed when Apple upgraded MacOS to Sequoia. Since I was no longer eligible for the “discount” upgrade, I had no choice but to buy PL 8 at full retail price, though I would have been happy continuing to use PL 5. While I understand your argument, and in fact place much of the blame on Apple for “breaking” the OS, I still am slightly miffed by DxO’s 3 year “new OS support” policy; personally, I think 5 years is more reasonable. So while I consider myself a contented user of PL 9.9.0, I still think new OS support should be part of the initial price, particularly if promoting the product as a “perpetual license”. I also have issues with the way features that I regard as basic are only available through costly add-ons, like FilmPack e.g. luminosity masks. While I remain a happy user, my Adobe subscription would have in fact been less costly, which surprised me.

Not true you can shoot 30fps with lossless compressed and compressed HQ.
I’m getting my information from the A7R6 manual….page 280
“When using the electronic shutter and performing continuous shooting in the RAW format, if [RAW File Type] is set to [Lossless
Comp] or [Compressed(HQ)], the continuous shooting speed will be 15 images per second at maximum even if [20 images/s] is
selected in [Cont. Shooting Speed].”

There’s no such thing as DXO6. Do you actually mean PureRAW 6 or PhotoLab 6?
It’s dxo Photo lab v6
PL6 is out of support, it’s never going to get profiles for new cameras.
However, if you search here:
for the OM-5 Mark II you will find it is already supported by PhotoLab, from version 7.16 onwards . It’s also supported in PureRAW, from v4.12 and above.
In other words, if you want to process files from the OM-5 in PhotoLab you need to upgrade your version of PhotoLab.
Specifically, he would have to upgrade to at least PhotoLab 9, and since PhotoLab 10 will be released in two months he should wait for that. As a PhotoLab 6 user he would not be entitled to upgrade pricing and he would need to make sure his computer meets the much more strenuous specifications for PhotoLab 9/10 than for PhotoLab 6.
