I saw that the new Sigma 17-40mm 1.8 for Fujifilm x Mount is in your list. Is there already a schedule when the update will come? I use Dxo Pure Raw for my work and the new Sigma Linse has become my favorite work lens. So I’m currently waiting for an update every day.
When lens profiles are released, they are typically usable in the most recent few releases of PhotoLab and PureRAW. A “point release” by contrast is a revised version of the entire program and has to be installed as such. That’s what the term has meant since the 1980s, regardless of your personal interpretation of the word.
DxO implements new camera and lens support profiles via software updates to any versions of PhotoLab which will get that support. That generally means the current and previous versions of PhotoLab and for a few months after the newest version is released support is also available for two versions back. Whether or not you believe new profile support is included with an update to the software is irrelevant to me.

I am merely saying that saying new profiles only come out as part of a “point release” is not how that phrase is used in the industry. Do you really want to play Humpty Dumpty and use words in your own way? You can do that - but only at the cost of not being understood by others. And trying to get others to your way of using it requires a lot of market power.
I was in IT for close to 30 years. I really don’t care about standard industry definitions. I am not using words in my own way. I am indicating how DXO implements new lens and camera profiles. They are included as part of major and minor software point releases. If you’re not happy with the way DxO implements its new lens and camera profiles, take it up with them.

Got the notice today that PhotoLab 9 is out. Checked the Supported Cameras page and was delighted to see both of the RF-S Sigma lenses I’ve been asking about: the 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN C and the 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art listed as supported by “2025-09” for both PhotoLab and PureRaw - so I bought and installed the upgrade to PhotoLab 9.
Went to the new module installer, chose my Canon R7 as the camera, and found neither of them in the list, though my other RF-S Sigmas are shown as already installed.
Can you give me an estimate of when they’ll show up? Apparently, “2025-09” represented a month, not a version number.

In the meantime, you can change the exif data to make your RAWs look like they came from an X-T50 and they will work just fine. They are basically the same cameras internally.
Install exiftool and run this in a folder with a copy of your X-E5 RAW files:
exiftool -Model="X-T50" -overwrite_original *.RAF
Note that the new XF 28mm F2.8 R WR lens is not supported, yet, though. That will come at the same time as official X-E5 support.
It looks like the Sigma 16-300mm also got an optical module with the september batch even though it wasn’t announced in the blog post. DxO if you are listening, you should consider adding it in the article. I was awaiting for this lens support to try your softwares and I might not be the only one.
Hi there, I just downloaded PL8.8 Elite and the Fujifilm X-E5 is still not supported. Will the “shortly after, you’ll get support of” be coming with PL8 (as promised)?
@Marie Are the Viltrox Air series of tiny and lightweight F1.7 lenses on your radar? They have gotten good reviews and I’m really interested in the 15mm and 56mm for Fuji X.

Hi there. I just downloaded a trial of PhotoLab 9, and am really liking the first impression.
One blocker for now, however: I just got the Leica D-Lux 8 “100 years of Leica” edition. DNG files from this camera show up as unsupported (and hence won’t open) in PhotoLab even though D-Lux 8 is a supported camera. Is this something you are aware of and that will be fixed?
@Marie - can you please add the Sigma 500 f/5.6 for Sony E? The lens has been out for over a year and a half, and still no profile.
Have you requested it in the camera/lens support database?

And for those who don’t know, in camera support web page, when we put numbers in “support” column, it is a date displayed as YYYY-MM. For example 2025-09 means September 2025.
As it is a planning it can be changed but September 2025 is for sure

@Marie Hello Marie, when will DJI Flip be supported? Its camera is the same as that of the DJI Mini 4 Pro, so supporting it should be quite easy.
