DxO Software - New Cameras & Lenses support (16 July 2024 update)

Hello @Marie … just to know if this is already on your radar ?
Sorry if you replied already I could not find anything.

Hello @Marie
I am wondering, that the old but still sold “Sony Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* SEL 16-70mm f/4,0 OSS Sony E-Mount” is not in the list of your modules for my a6400 and a6700? It should be there, it came out 2013 and is still sold by Sony and Dealers. I have one now but no module.
regards, Henning.

It’s an APS-C lens that doesn’t seem to be supported for all cameras.

Hello @Marie

Just a quick note say I’m looking forward to support for the new Canon RF 35mm f/1.4L VCM lens. Thanks!

May I kindly renew my request for the

  • HD Pentax-DA 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 Fish-Eye ED

Being an affordable yet capable ultra-wide option with even some close-up potential, this lens is used and loved by many Pentaxians. Given that the earlier smc-coated iteration has its own module, it grates a little that the HD-update is not covered. […]

Any chance that might happen anytime soon? Any hope or roadmap inclusion appreciated.

Hello @Marie

I don’t typically quote myself, and the only reason I’m doing so now is for context, given that you would have to scroll back to November of '23 to find my original post.

May I humbly ask DxO to consider that lens for calibration on a Pentax K-3 Mark III? I’ve lost track of how often I have used the regular suggestion channel to bring this about. I remain well aware that Pentax modules are too niche to be anywhere high on DxO’s priority list, but couldn’t you at least drop some of your more loyal customers … the occasional morsel of hope? :pensive:

Let me stress how grateful I am for the extensive list of Pentax cameras and glass that is in fact covered.

@Harald4 , Irix 21mm will be supported in september, this time there will be no more delays.

@Henninger , I note to add your MeiKe AF 50mm 1.8 STM for Nikon Z (if it transmits all Exif information we need).
About old “Sony Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* SEL 16-70mm f/4,0 OSS Sony E-Mount”, is supported for all Sony E cameras, but the camera supported web page has some issues at the moment and does not display all modules.

@provanguard , distortion correction makes lines straight, so, they are streched in the edges of images. If you have volumes (persons, heads) on borders, it will strech them too. To avoid it you can use volume anamorphosis correction, available in ViewPoint, or not correct distortion.

@m-photo , we haven’t looked at it yet but we will do it soon.

@dorpen, you’ll be happy very soon with support of Canon RF 35mm f/1.4L VCM.

@Madaboutpix I’ll raise priority of HD Pentax-DA 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 Fish-Eye ED but there are so many new lenses and cameras at the moment that I can’t give you a date of support.

Thank you, @Marie

No chance of Viltrox 28mm AF 1.8 for Sony FE mount? I asked for it before I think @Marie

Will any “minor bug fixes” in PL7.8 affect rendering results compared to PL7.7 using the same DOP file?

@Hawkmoon, I’ve noted your request and it’s in our roadmap but I can’t get all lenses at once.

@Wlodek , no, it won’t.

Hello @Marie ,
when you planned support for Canons EOS R5 Mark II and EOS R1?

You really need to flag Marie in by using her username with the ‘at’ prefix like @Marie. Otherwise she may not notice your message.

Hello @AkkiMoto ,

I plan to support the R5 II in September, at least we will do our max to do so.
About R1 it will be close to its release but it’s not defined yet.
