no rush but…

Yeah well…
Unlike other lens that are not supported (800 5.6 fl for example)
It didn’t let me choose a different module to at least be able to use the software.
a bit frustrating

you can still process your picture, just no auto correction with the lens yet. the draw back is you’ll have to put those pictures back in to see what correction would be improved. so far i’m not complaining about the result, but other than vignette and distortion, i don’t think i’d be too much off.
when i said “no rush but…” i meant yes the sooner the better =]

I understood what you meant,
and I did process some images.
But, the outcome was bad!
I used it on birds photographs. The background came out great as expected.
However, the bird itself got “cleaned” just like the background… lots of data and texture loss…
Completely different from the usual result with a valid module.

@Harald4, I’m adding IRIX 21mm F1.4 to the roadmap.
@meteo, Sigma 28-70 f2.8 DG DN will come probably at the beginning of 2024, we had a technical issue with it. I will add Samyang 75 f1.8 FE to the roadmap.

Enjoy,

Thank you very much, Marie

Hopefully the “Before the end of 2023 we will add focus reading for all Sony A7x / A1 / A9.
Optic modules will be updated to take it into account” is still happening?

Hello @John7 ,

yes, that’s still happening before end of 2023

Thanks Marie
I really hope the 180-600 will be available soon…

I don’t think I have seen it…

Plans for the Nikon Z 85/1.2?

@Lucabeer Nikkor Z 85mm F1.2 S is supported since May.
If you have trouble with it don’t hesitate to provide sample images for analysis on http://upload.dxo.com

Thanks Marie, I had not noticed it! I don’t own the lens yet, that’s probably why! .-D

Knowing it’s supported, I am even more tempted to get one!

Please note that new camera and lens support can also take effect on older versions of DxO applications. The apps should propose the updates and/or you can re-download the installer from your shop account.

Me too.
But I have some time since I did not receive my copy of this lens yet, still on preorder.
How do you like this 180-600 ?

If you live in Europe and are willing to lend your lens to DxO we will get an optical profile faster. And for you the cherry on the top: the profile will be especially for your copy of this lens

LOL, I wish…

I’ve had it for a couple of weeks now, but used it only twice for about 3 hours so far.
The overall impression is amazing!
Sharpness, focus speed, bokeh etc.
Best value for money by far, of all the equivalents!

Will you add support for older Canon lenses like the 600 mm F4 and the TC 1,4X II and 2X II?

Hello @yvesg888 ,

which Canon 600mm F4 do you refer to ?
We already support Canon EF 600mm F4L IS II USM and Canon EF 600mm F4L IS III USM both with TC 1,4X II and 2X II.

Marie

I am referring to the Canon 600 mm F4 that was before the 600 mm F4 II
