I’d address that with a ticket to support.dxo.com, including details about your platform, versions and a screen capture or two.
What we can do here is to test your image(s), if you share the RAW- and .dop sidecar files either as an attachment or with a link to some share (cloud or e.g. wetransfer.com)
I must admit that the pace of DxO PL updates is very disappointing. So many months have passed since the release of version 8 and still no full support, i.e. the latest features for Fujifilm sensors
@maribe, I will plan Sigma 105mm F1.4 DG HSM A in L Mount only in 2nd semester of 2025
@MinarKotonoha, GF500mm will be planned also in 2nd semester of 2025
@updatedb XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR II will be supported this 1st semester
@boem, as @platypus said, please open a ticket to the support (https://support.dxo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new), you can add you discussed with me on the forum and need analyze of it. Don’t forget to send RAW image and descibe your process so we can have a look @platypus can you give me ticket number?
@pnajbar@Hawkmoon full compatibility of denoising possibilities for XTrans is in pipeline but I don’t have the planning.
@th.deudon Sony FE 28-70mm F2 GM will be supporte at the very beginning of April.
Without getting into the technical complexity of the subject, I understand that it might take considerable time and, when I bought the latest PL8 version, I was aware that I would have to wait a while for the implementation of this feature. However, I personally think that a company which offers a given product without being able to provide even an approximate date of availability of a particular feature a few months after its release is behaving very unfairly towards its customers.
I would also prefer an honest answer about the release ofb XD2 for xTans with a reliable date, rather than these eternal imprecise promises. You always hope that something will happen with every update and are then disappointed again.
It may be due to DxO understaffing, or too high sample variation. Probably we will never know the true reason, because neither party has interest to disclose it.
In the case of XD2s X-Trans support, the problem is probably with technical research and getting the target quality. Perhaps DxO should mute their optimism and make announcements about future plans more reliable. But then many users will complain about DxO being too secretive, which is the case anyway.
Hi, just checking on the Rokinon (Samyang) 135mm F2.0 Full Frame Telephoto for Nikon F-mount. About a year or so ago I was told by support it might be coming a while after the Tokina Opera 50mm 1.4 FF (support for which has made me eternally grateful). I think the Rokinon 135mm was early in the process at the time, probably at the procurement stage.
I see that photo lab 8 will get xd3 and trans beta as a free upgrade soon so that is good customer service I think. catering for x trans must be resource heavy and I do wonder if fuji at some point gives up and aligns with the rest of the photography world.
Thanks for the reply, as several months have passed now: Is there an update on the Sigma 50mm F1.2 for Sony? The lens is now out in the market for about a year …
