At the moment, I’m not so worried about lens profiles because the main lens I used back then isn’t yet supported either. My uneducated guess is that the D200 is near as darn it the same for the purposes of lens behaviour, so it might be possible to adapt the D200 modules in the short term.
What would be so useful, as a starter, is to simply get the demosaïcing sorted and, to that end, I can provide D100 NEF files if that helps?
Hello. Is it possible to get a current forecast of lens profiles to expect from DXO Photolab in the near future?
I’m hoping to see Tamron model B061 18-300 for Sony a6600.
Thank you
Thanks Marie. I am looking forward to support for the Z 40mm f/2. Just a reminder that I also requested the Nikkor Z 28mm f/2.8 SE. Except for the retro body design, optically it is identical to the new Nikkor Z 28mm f/2.8 (non SE). Hopefully support will be available later this year for this lens
This lens is not in my possession. The Sigma 35mm F2 DG DN | Contemporary is and I’m using it quite a lot. DxO PL keeps on bothering me with the Leica. One lens @ € 600.-, the other @ € 4500.-. Obviously the same, right, just Leica price?
The Sigma so far needs roughly 35/100 barrel correction. At the price of the Leica, anybody expecting any correction at all? These things are really annoying.
The Leica has 13 elements of which 5 are aspherical, the Sigma already has 10 elements and 3 asphercial ones. This can’t be the same lens, but this can be the sloppiness of DxO. How many € 4500.- will be out there and how many of the € 600.- lenses? And which comes first? And which is still not available? This two lenses can’t be confused.
Except by DxO, naturellement.
Oh, I see, the Leica lens came out in 2019, my Sigma in 2020, so only one more year to wait… You guys at DxO really need to find a different solution for this backlog in lens corrections. I can understand that it’s a massive effort and possibly also not the most varied job to do, but causing so much frustration on both sides doesn’t seem the best solution to me.
