DPL 8 requested for using VP 5?

Hi,

Is DPL 8 required in order to use VP 5 from DPL ? In other words, is it possible to use VP 5 from DPL 7 ?

PL8 from dxo requirement, not sure why they haven’t made PL7 compatible. same with M chips VP 3 wasn’t compatible and needed VP 4.

Thanks. Having read this, I just thought they had forgotten DPL 7 .

The cynic in me says it because by doing it that is way they can make more money by requiring users to update to PL8.

Or, Apples frequent unannounced changes to their internal security and vector processing models cause problems for many software vendors.
