Change my own splash screen in DXO 8?

I wonder is able to change splash screen to my photo in DXO 8?

As far as I know, you can’t at least not on Windows, I don’t know about on a Mac.

Once upon a time you could hack it though. On Windows it was just a case of finding the existing image and replacing it with one of your own with the same dimensions (in pixels). Now even though you can locate what looks like the splash screen image, that file is not the one that is ‘splashed’. It is the file the installation process somehow bakes into the splash screen.
