Canon Mk 2 70-200 said to be the Mk 1 in program
« on: August 20, 2018, 01:11:15 pm »
I have bought the MK2 70-200 f4 and am impressed with it. I am not impressed by the lack of DxO support and more so that unlike Affinity its unable to correctly identify the lens in 200 and with Mk3 1.4 and 2 extenders fitted. It says its the Mk1 lens in all cases. It might be the correction for the Mk1 will works OK with the MK 2 so would be grateful for ideas  on this.

Have put this in both forums as I thought my post had failed here!

Hello,

Canon 70-200mm Mark II are in progress at the moment. We will deliver modules in September or October.
I’m sorry for the delay.

About using Mark I module with on your photos I think it won’t be perfect but it is OK.

best regards,
