Can you move files without making copies?
« on: March 16, 2018, 11:19:41 am »
When I try to move a file to a different folder, instead of moving the file, it makes a new COPY of the file. I don't want 2 copies of the same file in two different places. I'm looking for "cut/paste" functionality and instead I get "copy/paste" functionality. Is there a way to move files to a new location from within PL without making copies?

Hello,

When you just drag&drop the file from folder to folder you copy them. If you want to move the files you should drag&drop with the Shift key pressed.

Just for the record: is it a Windows thing, because on Mac OS  drag and drop is just moving?
