Hi everyone,
I'm having some problems with DxO PhotoLab Elite. I've contacted customer support but no response and it's been over 24 hours now.
After having the demo version, I purchased DxO Elite, installed it and put in my activation code. It all seemed fine, but then when I exported my photos they still had the 'DEMO' banners across them that you get when using the demo. I also have noticed that each time I open DxO, I have to put in my activation code each time as if I've never activated it before.
I'm starting to get a bit worried as it's been over 24 since I purchased it but I still haven't been able to use it properly and haven't had a response.
Does anyone know what might be the problem? Thank you

Firewall issues? Sound like the product never gets activated.

Thank you, it might be, I’ll have a look into it. I agree it seems like the activation isn’t working :(

Hello,

When you enter the activation key and validate it, do you have a confirmation pop-up saying that your application is activated?

Okay, then one more question:
Do you have a .lic file created here - c:\ProgramData\DxO Labs\Licenses\ ?

Does anyone know why DxO aren’t reposting to my support requests? It’s been 3 days now :( is there any other way I can contact them?

The 3 or 4 times I have written to the support, I always got a response on next working day or so. But 3 days is too much.

It is! I’m not sure what to do now, I’ve tried everything. I’ll just have to hope they get back to me

Don't worry orangedaisy, Svetlana will answer you probably on next ímonday. Without licence file, the app think, it is not registered. Just for testing the folder, make a file with such .lic extension. If you fail, the OS prevent to use the folder, you have to elevate your rights to write.

No, not that I can see :(

So there is a problem with the privileges. Please, do the test Endre suggested you (try to create any text file in this directory manually and see if you can do that). As your activation went ok on the server but something (AV or privileges) prevents from creating a license file on your machine.

+ You can try to run the application as Administrator.

Please, let me know your results.

Thank you, I’ll try this. I’m not the best at this sort of thing so hopefully I’ll be able to do it right! Thanks again
