Viewing EXIF Data?
« on: March 13, 2018, 01:39:44 pm »
Am I missing something or does PL only display very very basic EXIF data? Is this normal for RAW converters? Many times I want to see more info like is image stabilization on / off, is long exposure noise reduction on / off etc. and I have to go to a separate tool to get this info?

Hi,
This is strange for me, because DxO is using many data coming from the Exif  for all automatic correction.

I need this data for example
"Focus Distance" x'0305',
and
"AF Areas" x'0304'

You are righ, there is only a handful of them. Having in DPL a fullfledge set of metadata is a longtime request of mine:
My feature request #1: EXIF data. Please support it.

I try to make the DxO people understand that if they want to make inroads in LR’s turf they have to improve certain features like this one.

Yes, correct, only basic EXIF info.

In the meantime, you can try the exiftool, which gives you everything.
