Very interested in DxO Photolab
« on: January 28, 2018, 11:05:49 pm »

I am very interested in DxO Photolab and currently testing the trial now. I was very excited (optimistically cautious) about the NIK acquisition. One of the things that was a deal breaker for me with DxO in the past was the lack of local adjustments, and now the company seems to be heading in a direction that suits my workflow.

However, I am unsure how far the additions of local adjustments will go and that concerns me a bit. So, I suppose the question is, how far are you planning to take the NIK products and integrate into what you have? Is there a roadmap?

Will you be adding the Photo Effects, Lasso Tool, and my favorite Tonal Contrast? If so, will you be able to apply effects to an image selectively (via mask, gradient etc.)?
