Status: Solved and virtual copies
« on: January 08, 2018, 02:31:12 pm »
Hi Svetlana,

1) if the user sends a ticket and its status is "Solved" without further details. Do you know, whether it is "Solved:Implemented" or "Solved:Rejected"?

2) There is currently a limitation, when the user works with external selections and virtual copies. To reproduce open a raw using an external selection. Create a virtual copy of it. Try to delete the virtual copy. This is not directly possible, which is counter intuitive.

Hello,

1 - If you have the status "Solved" it means that the issue is fixed and will be delivered in the next release.
2 - About the external selections, yes neither images nor virtual copies can be removed from the selection. It's by design but you are free to ask for a change request with the explanation of the need.

Done,

Request #135176 Deleting virtual copies in external selections.

It does make sense to not be able to remove the last representant of a photo in an external selection. But it does not make sense to not be able to remove all other representants of the same photo (virtual copies), if you are able to create one. For every create operation there should be a working delete operation.
