Import preferences
« on: December 23, 2017, 10:06:58 am »
When importing images into Photolab, the default Preset is "DXO Standard" for new RAW images and "DXO Standard" for RGB images. I've changed this into "No Correction".
What are your settings here? Do you keep them at DXO Standard? Any other preset?
Mostly shoot portraits.
Thank you.

Hi mujabad,

The default Preset setting for RAW and RGB images are in your hand. If you choose any existing Preset ( e.g. No correction ) its settings will be applied. The 'No correction' means, the content of RAW / RGB file will not be changed. It is very helpful in case of scanned images. If you check all tools will be disabled - regardless the values are implemented.

I use the default, I find it’s a good starting point as key corrections like lens corrections are then taken care of. I also setup personal profiles for various tasks like DxO Standard but wih Prime noise reduction on etc.
