Wayne - is this still working for you?  Anyone else have an opinion?

Colin - what you are saying makes sense - I am new to PL so just need to get the workflow down and may settle on your view.  Thanks for your expertise.

Keeping the raws outside of Apple Photos and browsing through them and editing them with DxO before exporting a jpeg or tiff to Apple Photos is a simple enough approach and you can export direct to Apple Photos from PhotoLab. It is a shame the PhotoLab browsing module does not give more DAM type control for stuff like exif but that is why I also use Bridge.
