DXO pne Super RAW
« on: April 27, 2017, 07:43:25 pm »
Hello everyone, I've recently purchase a DXO one and I noticed that Super RAW will not transfer  (buttong is greyed out) only RAW,  I'm using a two year old iphone 6, I've done my updates as well.  Is it  a limitation of the phone I'm using? or am I doing something wrong?

Currently, the ONLY way to process and view DxO One's Super RAW image is to transfer the Super RAW photo to your computer via the DxO One Connect program.  Then you will use the DxO One Connect or DxO Optics Pro program to process the Super RAW to a JPEG.

Does SuperRaw also increase the image quality; i.e., increased megapixels when it combines the 4 shots, or does it only reduce noise? If it increases megapixels, to what level does it increase? I know that the Olympus Pen F also has a similar function that combines shots to produce increased megapixels/image in order to retain sharpness, etc. when doing extreme cropping.

it does not increase the # of pixels.
But it definitely does increase the perceptual resolution.
Basically, I now only shoot super RAW with the DxO One - it is that good.
