Optics Pro 11 - Mac Photos Workflow
« on: February 08, 2017, 07:09:52 am »
Hello all,

I use Apple Photos (Mac) and after trying the great Photos plugin I decided to buy the entire Optics Pro application.

I usually import my pics in Photos and then process them.

What is the best workflow between the 2 apps?

Thanks!!
Filippo

Thanks for your reply Sigi but I am not referring to the plugin version, I am looking for a workflow involving Photos and OpticsPro 11...

Hello Filippo,

Considering your workflow, I strongly suggest you to first load and correct your photos in OpticsPro to take advantage of all available RAW/JPG corrections tools.

That will enable you to export optimized photos in Apple Photos, and then go on further adjustments within Photos.

If you do the other way around, you will loose the benefit of OpticsPro 11 optimized corrections as you will work on modified JPG rather than RAW.

Hope that is helpful,

Bruno
